About me
I am an accomplished Machine Learning Engineer with a focus on music applications. My academic background includes the study of natural language processing, and I am currently engaged in research on speech processing and methods. Over the years, I have enriched my skillset by completing courses from Coursera's Deep Learning Specialization and obtaining a Natural Language Processing Nanodegree.
At the age of 13, I discovered my passion for coding while developing modifications for a Grand Theft Auto server I hosted locally. My formal education in computer engineering began at Universidade Federal da Paraiba, where I also established the Technology and Artificial Intelligence League (TAIL), now comprising around 60 members. After two years at university, I chose to pause my studies and concentrate on my role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Moises, having previously interned there for a year and a half. During my internship, I spearheaded the development of an innovative songwriter assistant project.
On a personal note, I am a sports and music enthusiast who enjoys surfing, playing futvolei - an intriguing blend of soccer and volleyball - as well as strumming the guitar and the Brazilian cavaquinho. In recent years, my interest in video games has waned, as the appeal of new releases has diminished for me. Nonetheless, I continue to explore my wide range of hobbies.
In the ever-evolving field of deep learning, documenting one's learnings in a blog post holds immense importance. Sharing knowledge not only promotes self-reflection and solidifies one's understanding, but it also helps other individuals grappling with similar problems. With this goal in mind, I created this blog to serve as both a repository of my deep learning journey and as a resource for others working in the field. By offering practical insights and solutions, I hope to empower those confronting the challenges I have previously encountered, thereby fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
